China's First HPC Source Code Warehouse Launched on National Supercomputing Internet Platform

TapTechNews July 9th news, the domestic first HPC (TapTechNews note: High-Performance Computing) source code warehouse Source Code Home has recently been launched on the national supercomputing Internet platform, and as of the time of TapTechNews' press release, it has 4352 source code products.

The national supercomputing Internet platform was officially launched on April 11 this year (2024), and in the initial stage, more than 200 application, data, model and other service providers have settled in.

This platform aims to connect many supercomputing centers across the country, construct an integrated supercomputing computing power network and service platform, which helps to alleviate the current contradiction between computing power supply and demand.

Source Code Home provides source code products divided into 11 categories such as artificial intelligence, industrial simulation, meteorological environment, chemical materials, etc., covering 193 HPC software, and supports users to download the required source code with one click and provides convenient auxiliary compilation tools.

The national supercomputing Internet said that the integrated service of trusted source code + reliable compilation environment simplifies the process of obtaining and deploying HPC software, saves users' time in finding and verifying source code, and can improve the efficiency of HPC application development and deployment.

Source Code Home also can provide on-demand customization services, and after users put forward specific requirements, Source Code Home will synchronize the corresponding source code to the warehouse.

The national supercomputing Internet platform aims to build Source Code Home into the largest and most complete integrated HPC source code warehouse in the country, and finally construct a comprehensive HPC source code ecological community for global developers.
