Daxing Airport Starts Using Electronic Boarding Passes for Immigration Inspection

TapTechNews August 5th news, according to the Beijing Daily, the Daxing Airport Immigration Inspection Station has now started the work of handling exit immigration inspection procedures with electronic boarding passes. If passengers have no checked luggage, after checking in on the official online channels of the airline, they can directly handle the immigration inspection procedures with valid entry-exit documents and electronic boarding passes.

The electronic boarding pass has the same function as the traditional paper boarding pass. After passengers present the electronic boarding pass for international and regional flights, they can complete the entire process of international flight operations such as security check, duty-free goods purchase, departure tax refund, customs, and immigration inspection.

TapTechNews noted that the first batch of airlines to open is British Airways and Hong Kong Airlines, realizing the whole process of 'paperless' for outbound passengers, further enhancing the automated and intelligent flight experience of passengers.

Cui Yujian, the captain of the fourth duty team of the Daxing Airport Immigration Inspection Station, said: 'We have completed the preparatory work for customs clearance with electronic boarding passes through measures such as optimizing configuration, system testing, and police training. Passengers can complete the immigration inspection procedures with valid entry-exit documents and electronic boarding passes, allowing outbound passengers traveling to and from Daxing International Airport to have a more convenient, efficient, intelligent and pleasant immigration clearance experience.'
